This part of this European Standard defines cold drawn non alloyed steel wire used for the manufacture of: - ropes made of drawn wire for general applications as defined in EN ...; - ropes made of large diameter drawn wire as definied in EN ...; - ropes made of non alloyed drawn wire for which there is no specific EN standard. This part of this standard does not apply to steel wire taken from manufactured ropes.
