Abstract

1.1 This European Standard specifies the minimum requirements for the design and construction of non-pressure metallic tanks used for the transport of dangerous goods. The standard includes requirements for openings and closures and the structure for attachment of the tank to the vehicle. 1.2 This standard does not cover requirements for service equipment and tanks for aircraft refuellers.
