Abstract

This European Standard specifies requirements for static thermoplastic tanks of volume 405 l to 10 000 l, manufactured by blow moulding or rotational moulding processes, with or without reinforcements, for the above ground storage of liquids other than water, but including chemicals classified as dangerous goods. Such tanks are not subjected to pressures exceeding +/- 0,05 bar. Their normal operating temperature does not normally exceed 25¦C but they may be subjected to periodic temperature fluctuations. This standard only covers tanks with a maximum lifetime of 10 years.
