Abstract

This European Standard is applicable to anionic and non-ionic polyacrylamides used for treatment of water intended for human consumption. It describes the characteristics of anionic and non-ionic polyacrylamides and specifies the requirements and the corresponding test methods for anionic and non-ionic polyacrylamides. Annex A gives some information on origin, use and handling of anionic and non-ionic polyacrylamides. Annex B lists the bibliography.
