Abstract

This part of ISO 1167 specifies the procedure for the preparation of components, i.e. fittings and valve bodies, for the determination of their resistance to internal hydrostatic pressure according to ISO 1167-1. NOTE Polyolefin fittings for butt fusion, electrofusion and socket fusion are usually tested as an assembly and are treated in ISO 1167-4.
