Omfang

This European Standard specifies a method of assessment of surface resistance to dry heat and relates to the hard surfaces of all finished furniture, regardless of material, except for finishes on leather and fabrics which are excluded from this European Standard. The test is generally carried out on finished furniture but may be carried out on test panels of the same material, finished in an identical manner to the finished product and on a size sufficient to meet the requirement of the test.
