Omfang

This standard specifies the technical conditions for inspection and delivery of wrought aluminium and aluminium alloy sheet, strip and plate for general engineering applications. It applies to products with a thickness over 0,20 mm up to and including 200 mm. It does not apply to semi-finished rolled products in coiled form to be subjected to further rolling (reroll stock) or to special applicatios such as aerospace , can stock, finstock, etc. which are dealt with in separate European Standards.
