Omfang

This International Standard specifies a method for the determination of the toxic effects of chemical compounds on the growth of marine algae. The method can be used for testing substances which are readily soluble in water and are not significantly degraded or eliminated from the test. NOTE 1 With minor changes, the method can also be used to determine the inhibitory effects of effluents. See however the note to table 2.
